Bhopal. MP Weather Update: The onset of the monsoons has brought showers all over the state. In addition, flood alerts have been issued for several regions within the state. In addition, alerts have been issued to people in low-lying areas of the Narmada river for expected sudden rises of water to pose life-threatening risks.  

Meanwhile, an orange alert for very heavy rains has also been issued in Jabalpur, Dindori, Mandla, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Pandhurna and Betul. Yellow alerts for heavy rainfall have been issued in Morena, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Sehore, Sagar, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Katni, Umaria, Shahdol and Anuppur.  

In this case, we also noticed an advance in the level of the big pond. The meteorological department has announced further expected rainfall throughout the state until the 10th of July, with eastern areas of the state receiving additional precipitation. As for yesterday, we saw a remarkable increase in rainfall amounting to 17.8 mm in the city of Bhopal between 06:30 am and 08:30 am. Added to this, during the late hours of the day, heavy showers were observed in several districts within the capital. Continuous rains have also led to a 0.05 feet increase in the water level of Bada Talab.

MP Weather Forecast: Additionally, rainfall between 4.75 to 4.76 inches has been documented in 117 towns and cities across the state. The highest rainfall of 7.11 inches was in Bankhedi of Narmadapuram and Umaria received 3.31 inches of rain. Heavy rainfall increased the water level of Bargi Dam in Jabalpur which led to opening 9 out of 22 gates and releasing 1578 cusecs of water into the Narmada river. Because of this, a coastal alert was issued up to Narmadapuram. Due to these regional downpours, all schools in Jabalpur will be closed until July 7 and 8. Simultaneously, due to the cyclonic circulation, a low pressure area and a trough line from the bay of Bengal, significant precipitation is anticipated on July 8 and 9.
