Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The much-celebrated true crime documentary Koose Muniswamy Veerappan has premiered on ZEE5 from April 27 onwards. The Tamil creation examines the life of one of India’s most dangerous and dreaded robbers, Veerappan.
Unlike most biopics that are overly dramatized, this series contains chilling footage from Veerappan’s life, providing viewers an authentic view into his life of crime.
About the Documentary Series
His most notorious ventures include the Sandalwood smuggling nightmares of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. In his extensive 36 year career, he:
Smuggled sandalwood and ivory
Kidnapped numerous high profile actors and even politicians
Brutal murders which terrorized large parts of the country
In addition, the series includes original recordings of Veerappan’s voice which enrich the storytelling.

In a post on X (Formerly Twitter) ZEE5 announced the premiere date stating:
