Jacqueline Fernandez is facing a difficult personal loss as her mother, Kim Fernandez, passed away on Sunday, April 6. The actress was seen arriving at the crematorium on Sunday afternoon to attend the final rites. Dressed in a white outfit with a face mask, Jacqueline appeared visibly emotional.
According to Times Now, the funeral was a private affair, attended by only close family members. Videos shared by Instant Bollywood showed the actress walking into the crematorium with her family by her side.

Kim Fernandez’s Health Struggles and Hospitalization
Kim Fernandez had been facing serious health issues and suffered a heart stroke earlier this year. Initially treated in Bahrain, where she resided, she was later moved to Mumbai for further care at Lilavati Hospital in March.
Jacqueline’s father was regularly seen outside the hospital during this period, standing by the family during Kim's declining health.

As her mother’s condition worsened, Jacqueline Fernandez made the decision to step back from her scheduled performance at the IPL 2025 opening ceremony, held on March 26 in Guwahati. Prioritizing her family, she remained in Mumbai to be close to her mother, who was in the ICU at the time.
