New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party MP Anurag Thakur on Thursday said that a complaint has been filed with the Delhi Police against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that the complaint details the recent developments in Parliament. The BJP leader alleged that Rahul Gandhi’s attitude shows that he thinks he is above the law, and that the Gandhi family considers itself above the law. Thakur also accused Rahul Gandhi of misbehaving arrogantly with a woman MP from Nagaland.
Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi physically attacked and incited. Along with this, he compared the condition of the Congress party to a ‘disgruntled cat scratching the pillar’ and said that the party is now acting in panic. He said, ‘We have lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police against Rahul Gandhi for assault and provocation. We have mentioned in detail the incident that took place today outside Makar Dwar, where NDA MPs were protesting peacefully.’
Complaint has been lodged under these sections
In his complaint, Anurag Thakur has demanded action under sections 109, 115, 117, 125, 131 and 351 of the Indian Penal Code. Section 109 is attempt to murder, section 117 is voluntarily causing grievous hurt.’ This complaint against Rahul Gandhi has been filed by Vadodara MP Hemang Joshi.
