PM Modi highlighted the potential for collaboration in the field of critical minerals—an area of strategic importance for India’s growing green energy and manufacturing needs. Chile, a top global producer of copper and lithium, is positioned to become a key supplier to India’s clean energy sector.

President Boric Praises PM Modi’s Global Leadership

Speaking at Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Boric acknowledged PM Modi’s expanding global influence, stating, “PM Modi can talk to every leader in the world — Putin, Trump, Zelenskyy, the EU, Latin American leaders, and Iran. You are a key geopolitical player in today’s world.”

Expanding Cooperation in Digital, Rail, and Space Sectors

PM Modi emphasized India’s readiness to share its expertise with Chile in digital public infrastructure, renewable energy, space technology, and rail transport. He referred to Chile as India’s key partner in Latin America and a "gateway to Antarctica," highlighting its strategic geographical importance.
