New Delhi : The Income Tax Department has raided 40 locations of people associated with Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister V. Senthil Balaji. These bases include residential premises and offices. Senior DMK leader Balaji also holds the portfolio of Prohibition and Excise.
Income Tax officials said that action is underway at the residences and offices of several government contractors having links with the power minister. The raids have been conducted at about 40 places across the state including Chennai, Karur.
