IMD Weather Forecast (26 April - 1 May): Relief from Heatwave with Rain, Hailstorms Expected in Several States:

Suspense Crime,Digital Desk: IMD Weather Updates 26th April and Rain Forecats: Some respite is on the horizon, especially after the city fears a heat wave. And why not, it’s time to chill. The IMD has made another rousing forecast stating there are chances of heavy rains, strong winds, and hail in various parts of the country in the coming seven days Alberta. Alongwith, the extreme heat conditions will continue to persist in some areas. According to the IMD, hailstorm will be experienced in Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Vidharba from 26 to April 28. Slow and steady, these areas will also experience strong winds upto at 50-60 km/hr till May 1.

The IMD has put a stamp on thunderstorm activities which guarantee light showers of rain in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu from April 26 to 27.

At the same time other states predicted to go into heatwave conditions include India’s Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Western Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh from 26 April to 1st May. Follow this with Gujrat, Tamil Nadu, Kerela and Andhra expecting delayed monsoons and experiencing hot humid weather. The state will also undergo hot days and sleepless nights addind fatigue from April 26 to 29.

There are chances of heavy rains in the northeastern states of India. The Meteorological Department has predicted that light to moderate rains are expected in Arunachala Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Panchayats of Mizo and Tripura over the next week. Accompanying these rains, gales of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour are predicted. Extremely heavy downpours are also forecasted for Assam and Meghalaya, whereas heavy rainfall is anticipated in Arunachal on April 26 and 27. A notice of warning from the meteorological department concerning heavy showers has been issued in Nagaland, Mizoram, and Tripura from April 28 to 29.

Referring to South India, the southern state of Karnataka and Telangana and Northwest Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry are expected to receive light to moderate showers. Kerala is also anticipated to receive extremely heavy rainfall.
