
A tragic road accident occurred late Sunday night in the Beta-2 police station area of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. An out-of-control Santro car rammed into an ice-cream cart, severely injuring a man identified as Abhishek, who later died during treatment.
According to police, the incident happened near Ryan roundabout around midnight. The driver of the Santro was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The accused, a 62-year-old retired Air Force personnel, was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Victim Identified as Bihar Native Residing in Tugalpur
Abhishek, originally from Rohtas, Bihar, was currently living in Tugalpur village under the Knowledge Park police station jurisdiction. After the incident, he was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. His body has been sent for post-mortem.
Following a complaint filed by the victim’s family, a case was registered against the driver under sections 281, 125(B), and 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police have initiated an investigation.
Three More Fatal Accidents Reported Across Noida
In addition to the Beta-2 incident, three other road fatalities were reported across different areas of Noida:
Phase-One Area: Rahul Kumar, 28, a resident of New Ashok Nagar, died in a road accident. Inspector Amit Kumar Maan confirmed that investigations are underway.
Sector-113 Area: A man named Ranjeet, 26, also lost his life in a separate road mishap. Inspector Krishna Gopal Sharma stated that the case is being examined.
Knowledge Park Area: Deepak Kumar Raghav, 26, from Bulandshahr, died in another road accident. Station in-charge Vipin Kumar reported that the body has been sent for post-mortem.
