
Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was recently seen in Mumbai with a bandage over his right eye, raising concern among fans. A video shared by paparazzi has gone viral, showing the 88-year-old actor explaining that he recently underwent an eye graft procedure.
In the video, Dharmendra assured photographers and fans, “Abhi bhi bohut damm hai, bohut jaan rakhta hoon…Mere aankh mein graft hua hai. Toh aata hun, hann.” (I’m still strong… I had a graft done on my eye. I’ll take your leave now, okay?)
He further added, “Love you audience, love you my friends, my fans. I’m strong.” The actor appeared upbeat, despite wearing a visible bandage over his right eye.
What is an Eye Graft?
An eye graft, medically referred to as a corneal transplant, involves replacing a damaged cornea with healthy donor tissue. The procedure helps improve vision and relieve eye discomfort caused by disease or injury.

Dharmendra was last seen in the 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar. The film featured an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and others.
While there are no confirmed new projects currently, reports suggest that he may appear in the upcoming film Ekkis, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Shree Bishnoi.
