At an event in Bengaluru, Anushka said, ‘I know that at this age my daughter needs my time a lot. Virat Kohli is a great father. But Vamika is at that age where she needs me more. We recognize this. That is why I have taken this step. Now I want to do what I feel is right and what makes me happy.
‘I don’t want to do more films’
Anushka Sharma said, I enjoy acting but I don’t want to do films like before. Now I want to do a film in the year and enjoy that phase of acting, which I love and the way I am, balance my life and give time to my family.’
The actress further said, ‘I am happy with the way I am living my life and I don’t want to prove anything to anyone, be it an actress, a public figure, a mother or a wife.
