Deepika took to her social media to voice her opinion against the claim made by the chairman of L&T, stating that forcing employees to work every single day of the week disregards their mental health. The actor quoted ‘mental health matters’ while calling out SN Subrahmanyan’s remarks. For those who do not know, he had made the claim on Thursday alongside a justification of his statement by saying, “What are they (employees) doing sitting at home?”. This has also added to the allegations made by the bollywood actor against him of being oblivious to the mental toll on the employees.

Deepika has not been quiet regarding the claims that SN Subrahmanyan made, recently Deepika went off on him on her social media. The resurfacing of his statement left many including Deepika dumbfounded. She criticized him for dismissing the mental health of people.

“If I can get you to work on Sundays, I'll be even happier because I do as well. What exactly do you do sitting at home? How much can you look at your wife without getting bored? How much can the wives look at their husbands? Get into the office and get to work."
