Andaz Apna Apna Re-Release Sees Strong Box Office Growth, Nears Original Earnings:

Salman and Aamir Khan’s iconic 1994 comedy Andaz Apna Apna is now a cinematic masterpiece after given a chance to be viewed in theaters by a new generation.

Even with the competition posed by new movies Jaat, Kesari Chapter 2, and Ground Zero, Andaz Apna Apna successfully held its own at the box office. Now, the movie has grossed an additional Rs 5.70 crore since its initial release, and post-containment era the movie amasses a rough average of Rs 6.72 crore. The movie initially earned Rs 5.15 crore netbut now with the September confinement, it has brought a tremendous boost in earnings of 90%.

Andaz Apna Apna saw a steady rise in collections over its initial weekend, smashing its record with an impending net with standalone release scheduled for December:

Day 1: Rs 25 lakh

Day 2: Rs 30 lakh (20% increase)

Day 3: Rs 50 lakh

Total: R115 seems to be estimate post standalone release
