On Thursday, Akinyela Taylor, an American veteran, hijacked a domestic flight in Belize with a small passenger plane operated by Tropic Air.  

The flight was in progress with both 14 passengers and two crew members on board when the aircraft was using Corozal as the starting point towards San Pedro, and was hijacked at 8:30 AM local time.  

Armed with a knife, Taylor injured two passengers and one of the pilots. Those that suffered said injuries were moved to a hospital for treatment which left one passenger in critical condition.  

Himself Shot by an Armed Passenger  

Taylor was shot on the spot by a hijacker, according to Chester Williams, Belize Police Commissioner, who stated that the purpose for the shooting was commandeered by a passenger who possessed a firearm.  

The passenger that was saved suffered stab wounds to the back and lungs but managed to eliminate tayler, turning him into a hero in the eyes of local law enforcement. Controlled fire was claimed to have been used by the injured passenger bound over to the police after being termed the rieberg.  

The firearm was later handed over to police by the bound over identified scapegoat.  

Demands and Emergency Response  

There were supposed to be endless motives and flight plans of Taylor who claimed he sought exit from Belize, enforcement wells with frigreges switched directly of refueling dictation and Tom being granted presence. But us official shut up the reason publicly stated was them legally had no mission which claimed against me desperately rate hill of his actions.

The BACC activated a complete emergency protocol and the plane was able to land in Ladyville without any further complications.

Preliminary Findings and Further Search

Police Commissionner Williams remarked that Taylor had previously attempting crossing into Belize through the Mexican border using the northern route without being allowed entry.

As of this moment, the authorities do not know how he entered the country prior to commandeering the aircraft.

The United States diplomtic office in Belize verified that Taylor is indeed who he claims to be and is working with the Belizean authorities to look into this case more deeply.
