Bollywood fame Aamir Khan’s sister Nikhat Khan Hegde is making her debut in L2: Empuraun and has recently given a statement regarding her brother's new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt.

Aamir Khan’s new girlfriend Gauri was revealed to the public by Aamir during a meet and greet days before Aamir’s 60th birthday. During the event, Aamir confirmed that he had known Gauri for more than two decades, having met her two years ago. They have been dating for the last year and a half.

Speaking on their relationship, Nikhat Spratt stated that Gauri has been introduced to the family and they are very fond of her.

During the event, Nikhat mentioned to Times Applaud Trends at the launch of the movie L2 Empuraan’s trailer in Mumbai that “Hum log bahut khush hain Aamir ke liye aur Gauri ke liye bhi kyunki woh bahut hi achi insaan hain, aur hum bahut chahte hain ke ye log dono khush rahein hamesha hamesha.” (Transaltion: We are glad for Aamir and Gauri considering she is such a wonderful human. We would love them to remain happy.')

During the trailer launch, Prithviraj Sukumaran, director, and actor of L2: Empuraan also spoke with Aamir Khan and complemented Nikhat for her part in the movie.

“I had no clue she was Aamir sir's sister. I know Aamir sir quite well. She had sent me her audition tapes. I told Priyatama, my casting director, ‘I want her (Nikhat).’ And she says, ‘Oh yeah, she's wonderful. By the way, she's also Aamir sir's sister.’ So, I was like, 'What?'. So, I called Aamir sir... He (Aamir) just messaged me saying, ‘Is my sister good in the film?’ I said, ‘Sir, she is a lot more than good,’” he told reporters at the event.

In the lead up to his birthday, Aamir Khan shocked everyone during the media interaction when he proudly presented his girlfriend Gauri. The two had been seen together for the first time and told everyone they had been dating for 18 months now.

Gauri has spent most of her life in Bangalore. Gauri’s Linkedin mentions that she studied at Blue Mountain School and later got a degree in FDA Styling & Photography from University of Arts London in 2004. She is currently managing a BBlunt salon in Mumbai according to her LinkedIn profile.
