On Thursday, January 9th, 2023, Oppo unveiled the Reno 13 5G series which includes the new Oppo Reno 13 5G and Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G smartphones in India. Moreover, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has integrated some gen AI abilities such as summary, rewrite, reply and circle to search in the Reno 13 series 5G, as well as in photography.

The size of the Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G’s screen is 6.83 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the size of the other model’s screen is 6.59 inches but the refresh rate is the same. Both models have an impressive peak brightness of 1200 nits.

Both of the phones come equipped with a 50 megapixels self-facing camera at the front Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 13 5G.

For Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G, the main rear Sony IMX890 camera comprises of 50 MP OIS, a telephoto camera with 50 MP, 3.5x Optical, and 120x Digital zoom; ultra wide camera with 8 MP. With Oppo Reno 13 5G it comes with main lens 50 MP, ultra wide 8 MP, and monochrome 2 MP.

Both Smart Phones possess IP66, IP68 and IP69 standards that will protect the devices from dust and water.

The Reno 13 series 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. They run the ColorOS 15 which is built on the Android 15 platform.

The Reno 13 5G features a 5600 mAh while a 5800 mAh is present in the Reno 13 Pro 5G. Also, the box contains an 80 W charger for both the phones.

The Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G’s starting price for the 12 GB/256GB variant is set at ₹49,999, while the other variant 12GB/512GB will be available starting at ₹54,999 in Graphite Grey as well as in Mist Lavender.

The Oppo Reno 13 5G will cost ₹37,999 for the 8/128 GB variant. Moreover, the 8 GB/256 GB model will be available at a price of ₹39,999.

Both smartphones will become available for purchasing on Flipkart and the Oppo online store from January 11.
