When the fans of the couple saw them unfollowing each other on Instagram, people started to speculate about the divorce of Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma, the couple started removing or editing each other images from their social media platforms which further gave birth to the rumors. He only became the third Cricketer to marry an Indian dancer and she was an avid fan of him during their wedding however, he deleted all images with her.

In December of the year 2020, Yuzvendra Chahal tied the knot with the choreographer and reality show celebrity, Dhanashree Verma, in a close ceremony in Gurugram. They actually fell in love when Chahal signed up for dance lessons with Dhanashree which later progressed into a relationship.
