Indian Railway: Ahead of the assembly elections in Bihar, the Railways has made a significant announcement for the people of the state. They have gifted new trains, five of them, to the state. These new trains will operate on several routes. People travelling on the highly demanded routes like Darbhanga and Saharsa will greatly benefit.
New trains for bihar
Bihar is receiving new trains as a gift from the Minister of Railways. Ashwini Vaishnav, the Minister of Railways, was in Bihar on the 30th of October and he made the announcement of operating five new trains to the people of Bihar. Ashwini Vaishnav issued the operational orders of four Amrit Bharat Expres trains on his visit. He declared that the Amrit Bharat Express will operate daily between Patna and Delhi. One of the weekly Amrit Bharat trains will operate between Darbhanga-Lucknow and Malda Town-Lucknow. Then, Saharsa to Amritsar will also have an Amrit train and a new Amrit Bharat train from Jogbani to Erode in Tamil Nadu.
The Railway Minister mentioned that some new anunciated projects include the third line of Bhagalpur-Jamalpur which is 53 kilometers long and will cost 1,156 crores, Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir-Tilaiya 104 km section's line doubling which will be 2,017 crores and Rampur Hat-Bhagalpur 177 km section line doubling which will cost 3,000 crores.
Ashwini Vaishanv announced the impending inauguration of two Software Technology Parks of India (STPIs) in Bihar. One of them is at Patliputra where the construction cost was Rs 53 crore and the other is in Darbhanga at 10 crore. He added, Modi's governence has increased the dedication of railways towards infrastructural growth and development spending focus. An amazing feat of creating more than 33000kilometers of railway was completed in the last eleven years.
On Monday morning, the Minister of Railways carried out an unannounced inspection of some railway stations in Bihar and assessed the scope of work done under the 5 New Trains Good news! Railway Minister gave the gift of five new trains to Bihar, know on which route they will run Station Scheme. The visit began in Patna, covering Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, and Sonpur division railway stations. The Minister of Railways also stated that the Prime Minister is giving the people of Bihar the gift of a number of new trains for the ease of travel. IANS
