The 28-year-old victim, a resident of Delhi, has alleged before the police that the man sitting next to her on an Air India flight to Goa covered himself with a blanket and then allegedly started making objectionable gestures. According to the FIR, the accused had intentionally kept the blanket open towards the victim in the flight.
The accused is from Panipat, Haryana.
According to the information, when the flight landed at the international airport in Dabolim, located in the south of Goa, the woman lodged a police complaint against the accused co-passenger. After this, the police took action in the case and arrested the accused. According to the information, the accused youth is a resident of Panipat district of Haryana.

Giving information about this incident, the police said that a case has been registered against the accused youth under Section 75 (section imposed under sexual harassment) and Section 79 (acts done to outrage the modesty of a woman, including insult, offensive gestures, or objects, and violation of privacy) of the Indian Penal Code.
