Today Weather Update: The month of March has seen clothing trends make a full circle in the region of North India. March witnessed the first of its hot days, but as the month progresses its resultant deficit in temperature has seen the reintroduction of mildly cold winds. Sweaters and Jackets are once again in vogue. The Delhi NCR region is experiencing similar outcomes. Though colder winds still persist the rate at which they were flowing has reduced. The Meteorological Department has claimed that the cold winds along with clearer skies will continue in Delhi NCR for the following days.  

Rain and snowfall alert in these states 

An alert has been issued by the Meteorlogical department, warning the public of oncoming rainfall and snowfall, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, warmer regions such as Uttarakhand, parts of Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh are experiencing a drop in temperature, now sitting comfortably below zero. Along with Sikkim, Bihar and Assam, Jammu and Kashmir has been also experiencing higher winds, with North India facing a colder shift in weather.  

How will the weather be in Rajasthan?  

Expect the temperatures of Rajasthan to be sitting at least 3 degrees higher than the set standard for the time of the year.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the state. The state’s weather has continued to remain dry throughout the past 24 hours. Barmer recorded the highest temperature during this timeframe at 36.4 degrees celsius. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature was recorded at 7.2 degrees celsius in Fatehpur.

Weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh

In the case of Uttar Pradesh, cooler atmospheric conditions have been felt due to strong winds for some time now. As per the Meteorological Department, the weather of the state will remain clear until the 12th of March. During this time, there will most likely be a rise on temperature leading to an increase in heat means. Milder, if the Meteorological Department is believed, severe heat is expected in the state of U.P in the month of March.
