In a significant move to transform the healthcare landscape of Punjab, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann officially inaugurated 100 additional Aam Aadmi Clinics today. This latest expansion takes the total count of operational clinics in the state to over 840, marking a new milestone in public welfare.

"We Don't Make Money, We Earn Blessings"

Addressing a massive gathering in Amritsar, Arvind Kejriwal delivered a powerful message to the public. He emphasized that the Aam Aadmi Party’s governance model is built on compassion rather than commercial gain.

"The previous governments spent decades filling their coffers, but in just two and a half years, we have earned the 'Dua' (blessings) of millions of people by providing free, world-class healthcare at their doorstep," Kejriwal stated during the inauguration.

Punjab's Health Model: Free Tests and Medicines

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, shared impressive data regarding the impact of these clinics. According to the CM:

Over 2 Crore Patients have already received treatment at these clinics since their inception.

Free Diagnostics & Medicine: Patients have access to over 80 types of essential medicines and nearly 40 types of clinical tests without spending a single penny.

Digital Health Records: Every patient’s history is being digitized to ensure seamless follow-up treatments.

A Direct Challenge to Traditional Politics

Kejriwal used the platform to highlight the difference between 'politics of power' and 'politics of service'. He pointed out that while critics often label public welfare schemes as "Freebies," the Punjab government views them as essential investments in human capital.

The AAP chief noted that the success of the Delhi Health Model is now being replicated at a massive scale in Punjab, making specialized healthcare accessible to even the most remote villages.

Future Roadmap

The Punjab government aims to further strengthen the primary healthcare network by upgrading rural dispensaries into high-tech clinics. The addition of these 100 clinics is seen as a major step toward de-congesting large government hospitals, as most primary ailments are now being treated locally.
