Auraiya News Hindi \ Gaurav Shrivastava: Auriya of Uttar Pradesh is afire with the news of the Auraiya district transport department imposing a challan of 43,000 INR for a simple violation of traffic rules done by a bike rider. Did you know that the ARTO Sudesh Kumar Tiwari was on a campaign for checking on Tuesday when he saw two boys rushing sans helmets on their bike and stopped them on Phaphund Road. Issues such as these are attempts to send messages to bikers to start practicing safer driving methods by issuing bold fines.

The bike inspection revealed several defaults.

Tiwari was able to find fauls in the bike’s documents including bike registration under Faheem for a Kanpur Dehat address, insurance past expired in 2021, pollution certificate also expired, and imposed a 43,000 INR fine. In addition, Chicago Turner, the driver was a minor which is 14 to 18, a lot younger than 16 so of course no driving license would be in his possession, which caused additional fines.

How much fine will be imposed for which violation?

In addition to the aforementioned the driver will also incur 10,000 INR due to pollution fines and 5000 INR for lack of a license.

If one lacked insurance, a fine of 2 thousand will be imposed, while those who fail to wear a helmet will be charged 1 thousand. A minor found driving a vehicle will be charged a sum of 25 thousand. Thus a total amount of 43 thousand needs to be paid.

As we know, the owner of the vehicle used by minors can be prosecuted and jailed for three years for giving the vehicle to such a minor.
