We can see that rights given to women are being forced to diminish and we need to defend any progress made, said UN secretary Antonio Guterres. Mr Guterres was previously seen making remarks at a UN gathering before International Women’s Day stating that, ‘we cannot observe while backwards motion is undertaken.’ Progresses made in relieving women and granting them liberity have been further skewed which has led to even more centuries of discrimination and prejudice.

It is also worth noting that other remarks made by Mr Guterres on said March 9 include: “New technological advances are extremely exciting, but too often than not, they are use to further harass and silence women. Instead amplifying their voices, they silence women.” He elaborated ‘The Concept of Politics has also led to Womens bodies becoming a sport to be used and abused.’

Women having to endure the constituents of online violence is being normalized and it is without a doubt trickling down to violence in the physical world. “Chauvinism and misogyny is troublingly on the rise instead of equality. Equal right should not be a topic of consideration. Make it a reality.” said Guterres.

"Everyone must take heed of the situation with the utmost importance. Real it in the fantastical utopia And instead of aiding the society to become a better place, it become a world with systems which țhey can deepen the ill formed ways for all of us. This is what called all of us to work at equality."
