Dilip Joshi Opens Up About Controversial Line from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah:

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah remains one of the highest rated drama serials on Indian television, having first aired in 2008 and completing over 4300 episodes till date. The older cast members have been gradually replaced by newer ones and for the sake of variety. One actor who remains loyal to the show is Memo’s character Jethalal portrayed by Dilip Joshi, who still continues to mesmerize audiences.

Many fans also loved Disha Vakani’s portrayal of Dayaben and had good memories of her pairing with Joshi. Unfortunately, Disha exited TMKOC after giving birth to her daughter in 2017. Sometime later, she settled into motherhood for a second time and now lives away from the public eye and attention.
