The Youtube channel Sidemen will be back on the football pitch for their charity match on Saturday (Mar 8). Having filled up London Stadium, the home ground of West Ham United in the Premier League, during the last charity match in 2023, The Sidemen have now set their sights on the iconic Wembley Stadium. Tickets to the fixture at the 90,000 seater were sold out almost instantly after they went on sale in November last year.
The group of content creators, who formed in 2013 with the purpose of recording themselves playing video games, will take on the Youtube Allstars that include MrBeast, Kai Cenat, and Carry Minati from India alongside many others. Commentary will be done by Spencer FC and Stephan Tries. The Sidemen have over 100 million subscribers on their various accounts and 21 million on their group channel.
Proceeds from the game will go towards the BBC Children in Need charity alongside Sidemen’s own charities, Bright Side and M7 Education. The group hopes to beat the previously set record of £2.4 million, which was raised during the last charity match that set the Guinness world record for the most viewers for a sports event live stream on social media, which topped 2.5 million.

Previous matches.
There have been five Sidemen Charity Matches to date, with Sidemen FC winning four of the five. In the last game, Sidemen FC won 8-5, which was quite a bit closer than predicted, especially with KSI accidentally scoring an own goal playing goalie.
