
Salman Khan’s Sikander is certainly one of the most awaited films. It has been making headlines since its announcement. Along with the fans, critics are waiting for the film’s release and the anticipation is only going up with each passing day. But one question still remains: What is the Bollywood superstar being paid for the film?
As reported Salman Khan is charging a bomb for his role in Sikander. The curiosity regarding the actor’s demand is understandable owing to the marveled attention and awe he receives alongside the long list of blockbuster films he has given to Bollywood cinema.
It comes as no surprise that the actor is commanding a considerable amount for this high-profile film considering he has the ability to pull in crowds and ensure box-office success.
According to Filmibeat, Salman is demanding a stunning Rs 120 crore for the project. It is unclear whether the actor, who is famous for his preference to the profit-sharing model, has chosen this route for Sikander as well.
Alongside Salman Khan, the film features the commendable Rashmika Mandanna in a leading role. Rashmika is fresh from the success of both Pushpa 2 and Chhaava and is reportedly being paid Rs 5 crore for her role in the film.
Also part of the cast, together with her, is Kajal Aggarwal who is said to receive Rs 3 crore for her role. However, these figures have not been confirmed by News18 Showsha.
Sikander is among Sajid Nadiadwala's most ambitious projects, which has been directed by AR Murugadoss. The film has already generated interest with the release of its electrifying 80-second teaser.
The clip features Khan in action in what looks to be a multi million dollar set, his entrance into the film is quite grand as he is seen in combat with some masked, armored foes. He plays the role of Sikander and as he is introduced to the audience the viewers see him in a striking silhouette and his bursting strength sets the tone for the high octane drama.
Furthermore, an informal clip from the sets of the film has surfaced on social media, in this video, Salman Khan is seen exiting a Kaali Peeli taxi donned in battle worn dress, as he steps out, the audience lets out a collective cheer.
Khan has also posted a new poster of Sikander on his social and in the poster, he appears with a fierce look, while knife is shown in the hand. In the caption, he confirmed that the film would be out in cinemas on March 28, 2025, which is the date of Eid-al-Fitr which is a public holiday.
