Krishna Janmashtami 2024: Every year the festival of Janmashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. According to religious belief, Lord Krishna was born on Bhadrapada Ashtami Tithi and Rohini Nakshatra. According to the Hindu calendar, Rohini Nakshatra will start on 26 August 2024 at 3:55 pm. Rohini Nakshatra will end on 27 August at 3:38 pm. The time of Nishita Puja for the worship of Lord Krishna will be from 12:01 am to 12:45 am (27 August).

Significance of Janmashtami
