On the 17th of March 2025, the Indian Airforce (IAF) disclosed the results of the Air Force Commmmon admission test(TAF 01-2025) which was held on 22nd and 23rd February 2025 in different centers of India. The AFCAT 2025 exam was conducted on February 22 and 23, 2025 across multiple examination centres in India.
The candidates who have appeared in the computer based exam, are now able to view the results using their registered credentials on the offical website of AFCAT IA aims to recruit a total of 336 vacancies on Group A Gazetted officer posts through this drive.

AFCAT 2025 Exam The exam for AFCAT 01/2025 was held online and divided into two sessions held day-wise. It included five sections, General Awareness, Verbal ability in English, Numerical ability, Reasoning, and Military aptitude. The pattern of the test was in MCQ form with a total of 300 marks allocated. It comprised of 100 questions.

The exam lasted 2 hours and had negative marking for incorrect answers, which meant candidates were punished with a 1 mark deduction for wrong answers. In this manner, candidates were judged not only on what they knew, but on how accurately they answered.
What Comes After the Shortlisted Candidates?
Students who are successful in the AFCAT 2025 are eligible for the AFSB interview round. This phase assesses candidates based on multiple criteria such as persona, leadership skills, and overall speech. Later on, they shall get a medical checkup and a final decision for the Air Force Academy training will be made.
