Actor Mahira Sharma has put to bed the speculation surrounding her supposed romantic relationship with cricketer Mohammed Siraj. She clarified this rumor on her social media, stating there is no merit to it whatsoever.

On March 21, Mahira posted a message on her Instagram Stories directly stating “Stop spreading rumors. I’m not dating anyone.” This comment came after she was baited by some photographers in Mumbai about her supposed relationship with Siraj.

This interaction took place on March 20 during an award function Mahira was scheduled to attend. When she got to the venue, the photographers started asking her which team she supports for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) and the interaction was filmed and later posted on social media.

On the 21st of March, the cricketer shared a story on his Instagram and personally addressed the rumors. He told the paparazzi to stop following him while making the claim, “I request paparazzi's to stop asking questions around me. It is completely untrue and baseless. I hope this ends."

For a couple of months, the rumors regarding Mahira Sharma and Mohammed Siraj's alleged relationship have been running wild. Initially, the speculation started from the claim that they were in a relationship, but due to privacy issues, it was kept under wraps. Additionally, it was observed that Siraj had recently liked one of Mahira's posts on Instagram and the two were now mutuals on the social media platform.

In an earlier chat with Filmy Gyan, Mahira replied to calls of her dating Siraj by saying, “Kisi ka kuch nahi hai (There’s nothing). I am not dating anyone.” She discussed how she handles such reports saying, “Fans can associate you with anyone. There's little we can do to stop them. When I am working, there is a lot of linking with them (co-stars). They make edits and all. But I don’t really care about this. So, want to believe it? Go ahead! But there’s nothing like this.”

Mahira made an appearance on Bigg Boss 13 which skyrocketed her fame in the industry. She was in a relationship with Paras Chhabra, but the two broke up in 2023.
