Actor Shine Tom Chacko Faces Fresh Misconduct Allegations from Another Co-Star on Film Set:

The actor for Soothravakyam, an upcoming Malayalam movie, is in hot waters yet again as there are allegations of misconduct by his co-actor Shine Tom Chacko as well. Aparna John, who is based in Australia, said that Chacko’s actions on set corroborated what actress Vincy Aloshious had earlier stated.

As per John's account, “Chacko made sweeps” and “strongly suggestive” remarks owing to “unprofessional conduct”— something that she found troubling. “His behavior was all over the place,” particularly towards women, he came off as overly hyper, or modified, and he, inappropriately too.

Aloshious did claim it impacted his behavior, although the powder was not revealed. Chacko had allegedly apologized to her, but there was no police report made at the time.

Chacko Drug Abuse Associated Cases

In another incident, Chacko was reported to be on the run from a hotel during a raid conducted by the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DASAF) and has now been arrested for drug related offenses which he later bailed out. He is also charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for evidence tampering and in the NDPS Act for consumption and conspiracy of use of drugs.

Officially, the government of Kerala has claimed that they would not laugh off the concerns. The police department alongside the Excise department was said to be working in a sync. Even The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has been notified although it is unaddressed how the professional body will counter the resound.

At the same time, his legal narrative becomes more complex after Shine Tom Chacko was recently acquitted in a 2015 drug case because of procedural problems with the police seizure and arrest.
