RVNL remains focused after the winning of the bid with South Western Railway as the lowest bidder, which brings the share price for Rail Vikas Nigam into focus on February 24. The Grant specific to the project is for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for design,supply,erection and commissioning of overhead electrification systems along with some other electrical general services between Rayadurga (Excl.) Topavagada of TK-RDG Section. The project is worth Rs 156.35 crore. Earlier this month, the company has also been awarded a joint venture project letter of acceptance (LoA) for the Bengaluru suburban rail project (BSRP) in Karnataka, which amounts in Rs 554 crore. 

RVNL will execute the joint venture project together with Rithwik Projects Private Limited, which shall have 49 percent shareholding in it. The project is expected to be executed within period of 24 months. Company reported net profit of Rs 311 crore in the third quarter of FY25, compared to the net profit of Rs 359 crore in the third quarter of FY24. The net profit reflects a year on year decline of 13 percent. Rail Vikas Nigam in consortium with HFCL Limited & Aerial Telecom Solutions has signed project implementation agency granted M/s Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL).
