Infosys, India's second-largest IT services company, is set to roll out salary hike letters to employees by the end of February 2025. The average salary increase is expected to range between 5% and 8%, with the revised pay scales coming into effect from April 2025. This hike aligns with the improving demand for IT services, as most technology firms anticipate higher budgets for the upcoming financial year. However, Infosys has not officially confirmed these details yet.

Salary Hikes and Promotions at Infosys

According to sources, Infosys has also initiated the process of issuing promotion letters in phases. The first batch of promotions was released in December 2024, while the second batch is expected to be rolled out by the end of February 2025.

On January 16, 2025, Infosys announced that it would implement a 6-8% annual salary hike for its employees in India, starting January 2025. This marks the first phase of the company’s salary revision plan, with a second phase set to begin in April 2025.

Infosys CFO Confirms Salary Revisions

During the company’s Q3 FY25 earnings announcement, Infosys’ Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jayesh Sanghrajka confirmed the expected salary hike range. He stated:

"Broadly, the annual compensation revision we are expecting is between 6-8% in India, while overseas salary revisions will remain aligned with previous compensation reviews."

Previous Delays in Salary Hikes

Infosys had previously delayed its annual salary hikes to the fourth quarter of the current financial year (Q4 FY25). The company last implemented salary hikes in November 2023, making this revision an important update for its workforce.

With over 3.23 lakh employees, Infosys remains a key player in India's IT sector. The upcoming salary hikes and promotions reflect the company's efforts to retain talent amid evolving industry demands.
