The special CBI court in Lucknow has convicted 10 accused in the murder case of Jiya-ul-Haq, who was a DSP from Kunda in Uttar Pradesh. The names of the accused are Phoolchand Yadav, Pawan Yadav, Manjeet Yadav, Ghanshyam Saroj, Ram Lakhan, Chhote Lal Yadav, Ram Aashray, Munna Lal Yadav, Shivram Pasi and Jagat Pal. According to the CBI, in 2013, Kunda DSP Jiya-ul-Haq had gone to the house of Pradhan Nanhe Yadav of the Balipur area with a police party. At that time, the situation in the area had become very bad due to the murder of Nanhe Yadav. The police party had reached there due to the deteriorating law and order situation.

CBI said that it is alleged that the family members and supporters of the deceased Nanhe Yadav attacked the police with sticks and other weapons. The mob killed CO Kunda Zia ul Haq during this time. The CBI special court will pronounce the sentence to the culprits on 9 October. Let us tell you that Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya’s name also cropped up in this murder case. He was accused that Raja Bhaiya’s manager Nanhe Singh had shot at the DSP. However, Raja Bhaiya’s role in this murder case was not found. Raja Bhaiya got a clean chit again in the CBI investigation.

Let us tell you that in the year 2012, CO Zia-ul-Haq, a resident of Nunkhar Tola Juafar of Deoria district, was given the responsibility of Kunda Circle. Village head Nanhe Singh Yadav was shot dead in Bandipur village of Hathigwan on the evening of 2 March 2013. The murder was committed when he was sitting at a tea stall near a disputed land. Let us tell you that there was anger among the villagers after this incident. During this time, when CO Zia-ul-Haq took charge of the village, he was murdered. In this murder case, on the complaint of deceased CO Zia-ul-Haq’s wife Parni, the police also registered a case against Raghuraj Pratap Singh. However, later the CBI gave him a clean chit.
