An incident of kidnapping and gang rape of a 24-year-old woman has come to light in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Three accused forcibly made the victim sit in the car. After this, they took her to the tube well, where all three took turns to rape her.
The victim had called the police helpline 1090 at the time of the incident, but the police could not help. At present the police have arrested all three accused.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Vajpayee said that based on the victim’s complaint, a case has been registered against the three accused under Section 376D (gang rape) of the Indian Penal Code and related sections.
All three accused have been arrested. They have been identified as Shanky son of Tejpal Singh resident of Faridpur, Robin son of Munesh resident of Faridpur Darga, and Ankit son of Devendra Singh resident of Sikheda N.
He said that this incident happened on Friday. At that time the victim was going for some work. Then on the way the three accused kidnapped him. They took him to a tube well. She was gang raped there.
The victim told the police in her complaint that she already knew the accused. After committing the crime, the accused left the victim alone at the Bijnor bus stand. After this, they ran away.
It is being told that when the victim was abducted by the accused, she had called the police helpline 1090. But she was so desperate that she did not tell the police her exact location. But he kept his mobile phone on.
Because of this, when she was being brutalized, her screams were being recorded on the helpline number. The investigation of this case has been handed over to a DSP rank officer. The car has been confiscated.
