Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : After his phenomenal performance in the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League for Rajasthan Royals, ex-India skipper Sourav Ganguly took the center stage and advised the fans to keep their patience with the young player as he prepares to make his international debut.

The Indian team's squad for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and England was announced by the BCCI. The Indian team will face Ireland in two T20I games, followed by five T20I matches against England.

One of the major highlights in the released squad was the inclusion of 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Since he will be making his maiden appearance in Indian colors, the world's eyes will be glued on the 15-year-old who is heading into the series after a stupendous IPL season, where he finished the tournament as the orange cap holder with 776 runs in 16 innings.

With this selection, ex-India skipper Sourav Ganguly urged the fans to exercise patience.

"I think we should let him be, he's just 15-year-old and I don't think he'll bother too much about pressure and that's what we get to see him in the IPL. Obviously, playing for India is different and he will be touring where the wickets will be a little different," Sourav Ganguly told PTI.

"It will seam and there will be a bit more bounce and a bit more movement with the new ball, so the game is a bit different, but I think he's got enormous talent, so just let him be, don't expect the world from him straightaway. Just allow him to settle down because you know he's got a lot of talent like many others in India," he added.

Sooryavanshi was brilliant in the IPL 2026.

Sooryavanshi was exceptional for Rajasthan Royals in the 2026 edition of the IPL, as he went on to score 776 runs from 16 innings. With the help of one century and many half centuries, he propelled the inaugural champions into Qualifier 2 of the tournament. He was phenomenal in the Eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad where he scored 97 runs and registered a total of 96 runs against Gujarat Titans in the following match, but the Rajasthan team ultimately went on to lose the match.
