Many parts of Rajasthan receive rain, people feel some respite from the heat

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Many parts of Rajasthan experienced rain and thunderstorms in the last 24 hours and people feel some relief from the heat. According to the department of Meteorological department, max temperature remained below normal in most parts of the state. The hottest part of state was Phalodi on Tuesday (2 June) with the highest temperature recorded at 42.2 degree Celsius, said department of Meteorological department.

According to the department of Meteorological department, Sriganganagar recorded maximum temperature of 41.4 degree Celsius, Bikaner was at 41.2 degree Celsius while Jaisalmer recorded temperature at 40.5 degrees Celsius. For most of the cities maximum temperature was below 40 degree Celsius. Chittorgarh recorded maximum temperature at 39.8 degrees Celsius, Churu was at 39 degrees Celsius, and Pilani at 38.5 degrees Celsius.

What was temperature in Barmer, Jodhpur, Kot?

Barmer recorded maximum temperature at 38.3 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur at 37.4 degrees Celsius, Kot at 37.2 degrees Celsius, Sikar at 37 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological department said that max temp recorded was 35.6 in Jaipur, 35.8 degree Celsius in Ajmer, 35 degree Celsius in Bhilwara and Dabok and 33.5 degree Celsius in Alwar.

Rain over many parts of Rajasthan in span of 24 hours

Meanwhile it has been raining at many places over the last 24 hours and ending at 8.30 a.m. On Tuesday, as per department it has rained 61 mm in Chittorgarh, 26.4 mm in Barmer and 20 mm at Vanasthali of Tonk district while few places recorded traces.

Areas where will storm and rain continue on 3 rd and 4 th June?

The Meteorological department has predicted that due to impact of a western disturbance thunderstorms, storms and rain may continue in the few parts of the state over the next one week. On the other hand another western disturbance that will become active on 3 rd and 4 th June will again increase the intensity of storms and rain over some parts of Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Ajmer divisions. During this period strong winds up to 60-70 kilometer per hour and rains are predicted over the many parts. As a result, maximum temperatures over many parts of the state will remain below 43 degrees Celsius this week.
