UPSRTC to Recruit 5,000 Women Conductors in Uttar Pradesh: Empowerment Through Employment:

In a significant step towards women empowerment and employment generation, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will recruit 5,000 women conductors on a contract basis. The announcement was made by Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh, highlighting the aim to make women self-reliant.

Eligibility Criteria and Benefits

Women candidates interested in applying must fulfill the following requirements:

Educational Qualification: Intermediate (12th pass)

Computer Skills: CCC Certificate (Course on Computer Concepts)

Additional Weightage (5%) if candidates hold any of the following:

NCC 'B' Certificate

NSS Certificate

State/President's Award from Bharat Scouts and Guides Institute

To ensure accessibility, selected candidates will be posted in their home district depots. Contractual salaries will follow the existing pay scale of the transport department.
