On Monday, April 21, television actor Lalit Manchanda's lifeless body was discovered at his residence in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He was 36 years old. Police officials confirmed that his body was found hanging, and the incident is currently being treated as a suicide.

His body was subsequently sent to a nearby hospital for postmortem examination. Authorities continue to look for more information about his death, as there was no suicide note or suggested foul play.
