Just days after claiming to have brokered peace between India and Pakistan, a fresh report surfaced indicating that his family has significant investments in a crypto deal with a Pakistan-linked firm.
Trump Family’s Stake in World Liberty Financial
The firm embroiled in the dispute, World Liberty Financial (WLF), allegedly holds 60% of shares Trump Family according to an article published in Times of India. WLF recently entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Pakistan Crypto Council, a newly established body that aspires to turn Islamabad into a regional crypto center.
To further enhance the Council’s reputation, it is reported that the council has obtained Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) to act as adviser, which adds credibility to the project albeit it being in its infancy.
High-Level Meetings in Islamabad

Along with other attendees, Zachary Witkoff, the son of Trump’s long-term business partner Steve Witkoff, was present and the gathering was piached and attended at the highest levels including greeting from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir.
The report mentions a disturbing development after the visit: General Munir supposedly sanctioned an attack in Pahalgam which leads to questions regarding the greater implications of the crypto deal and its timing.
Trump Family Members Under Scrutiny
As stated in the report, notable WLF investors comprise Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Jared Kushner. Each has drawn backlash in the past regarding their continued foreign business dealings while being intertwined with government power. Observers are anticipating that their participation in this transaction will only fuel the already heated discussions surrounding the intersection of capitalism and international relations.
