
Renowned television writer Manoj Santoshi, best known for his work on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Hyderabad, Telangana. He had been suffering from a prolonged liver ailment. In his honour, a prayer meet was held on April 2, 2025, at Padma Hall, Juhu, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Family, friends, and industry colleagues gathered to celebrate his legacy and pay their final respects.
Notable Attendance at the Prayer Meet
Actors Asif Shaikh and Delnaaz Irani were among the several television personalities who attended the meet. Asif Shaikh, who stars in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, arrived with his wife and shared his tribute to the late writer, remembering him for his creativity and lasting impact.
Delnaaz Irani was also seen at the venue, carrying a bouquet as a mark of respect.

According to actor Asif Shaikh, actress Shilpa Shinde, who played Angoori in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, was deeply involved in supporting Manoj Santoshi during his hospitalization. Although she could not attend the prayer meet due to health reasons, her care and presence during his final days were confirmed by producer Binaifer Kohli.
