Stock market crashes on the first day of the week, these shares fall sharply
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Domestic stock markets also crashed today amid the sharp fall in Asian markets. The local market closed with a decline of about one percent on Monday. On the very first day of the week, today the BSE Sensex closed at 73,524.26 points, with a fall of 719.08 points (0.97 percent). While, NSE's Nifty 50 index also closed at 23,123.00 points, with a fall of 243.70 points (1.04 percent). Along with the fall in Asian markets, Israel's latest attack on Iran and the surge in crude oil prices were also major reasons for today's decline. As a result of Monday's fall, shares of many small and big companies have registered a huge loss.
Eternal shares closed with a significant loss
On Monday, out of 30 Sensex companies, the shares of only 7 companies closed with a gain, while the shares of all the remaining 23 companies closed with a loss. On the other hand, out of 50 Nifty 50 companies, only 9 companies closed with a gain, while the shares of the remaining 41 companies closed with a loss. Among the Sensex companies, Power Grid shares closed with a maximum gain of 1.79 percent today. While Eternal shares closed with a maximum loss of 3.24 percent.

Among the remaining Sensex stocks, Tech Mahindra shares closed with a gain of 1.35 percent, BEL by 1.20 percent, Bharti Airtel by 1.13 percent, State Bank of India by 0.42 percent, NTPC by 0.30 percent, and Sun Pharma shares closed with a gain of 0.19 percent.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Mahindra & Mahindra shares closed down by 2.51 percent, Trent by 2.21 percent, Indigo by 2.16 percent, Reliance Industries by 2.13 percent, TCS by 2.13 percent, Bajaj Finance by 2.05 percent, L&T by 2.00 percent, Tata Steel by 1.91 percent, Bajaj Finserv by 1.89 percent, Titan by 1.61 percent, Adani Ports by 1.27 percent, UltraTech Cement by 1.20 percent, HDFC Bank by 1.18 percent, Maruti Suzuki by 1.17 percent, Asian Paints by 1.12 percent, ICICI Bank by 0.97 percent, Infosys by 0.81 percent, Axis Bank by 0.67 percent, Hindustan Unilever by 0.55 percent, ITC by 0.48 percent, HCL Tech by 0.47 percent, and Kotak Mahindra Bank by 0.09 percent.
