Smart Courts are Here Inside Jamshedpur’s New High-Tech Entry System

The introduction of the Visitor Management System (VMS), specifically starting with the Jamshedpur Court, marks the end of old-school manual entries and the beginning of a high-tech, secure environment.

For decades, entering a court in India meant standing in long queues and manually filling out registers. Under the new system, visitors, advocates, and litigants will now use E-Passes and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) cards.

Real-time Monitoring: The VMS allows court administration to know exactly how many people are inside the premises at any given time, which is crucial for security and emergency management.

Verification: Every visitor's identity is verified through integrated databases (like Aadhaar or Bar Council IDs), ensuring that only authorized personnel enter sensitive areas.
