The Central Reserve Police Force, in combination with the Jharkhand police, carried out a significant security operation on Monday where they eliminated six Naxals in an encounter located in the Bokaro district.

As reported by the officials, the exchange of fire commenced at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the Lugu Hills within the Lalpania area of the district. There are patrols still moving through the area, the operation is active and ongoing.

Injuries Reported For No One

The mission was spearheaded by the 209 CoBRA units who are part of the specialized task force of the CRPF. While executing the mission, the security team recovered two INSAS rifles, an SLR, and a pistol amongst several other arms captured.  

Despite the active operation, authorities confirmed that the ongoing security forces moving through did not sustain any injuries.
