Rukshar Dhillon walked out on an event after a photographer kept taking pictures of her despite her repeatedly asking him to stop.
The Telugu actress gave this statement during the media interaction for her movie, Dilruba, held in Hyderabad. She even went to the extent of reprimanding the male cmeramans for their annoying habit of clicking distasteful pictures of actresses.
The peplum top worn by the actress was very pretty, and it made her look lovely when paired with a denim skirt. However, she didn’t want any pictures taken of her and asked not only the cameraman but everyon e to cease taking pictures of her. Since no one listened to her she took the issue to the stage.
“I am a little scared whether to say this or not. But this is important. How many women are there in the audience? Can you raise your hands? If someone is taking unpleasant pictures of you, are you okay with that? Let's just say with all love and respect. I am uncomfortable and will appreciate not being clicked. Am I right or wrong? Well, you witnessed what happened on stage. I won’t name who but the message is enough for a lifetime,” were her exact words during the press meet.
Viswa Karun is responsible for both writing and directing Dilruba, which also features Kiran Abbavaram, Rukshar Dhillon, Kathy Davison, and John Vijay in leading roles.
Dilruba is an interesting romantic action-drama that tackles the concepts of love, trust, and the effect of one’s actions. The plot follows a pair who are stuck at a crossroads due to a major blunder by the male protagonist. This blunder creates a chasm between the couple which leads to multiple emotional confrontations and a clash of differing views.
As the plot continues to develop, the film explores what lies beneath relationships, asking whether love is sufficient to overcome everything or if mistakes are too deeply rooted to overcome. The romantic angle elevates the emotional connection between the characters, while action and drama evoke intensity and suspense to keep the audience’s attention.
The film’s compelling narrative is enhanced by the lead actors' brilliant portrayal of the characters’ conflicting emotions and struggles. With the mix of romance and action, Dilruba brings a ride full of emotions while challenging the audience's thoughts on love and redemption.
