Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a six-day trip to France and Slovakia and he is going to participate in the G-7 summit. This is the first visit to Slovakia by an Indian Prime Minister since the country became independent.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi left on Friday for a six-day trip to France and Slovakia. During the trip, the Prime Minister will be participating in the three-day G-7 summit in France from June 15 and will also be holding talks with the various world leaders in bilateral discussions. For the thirteenth time, India has participated in a meeting of this group as a partner nation. According to the experts, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi might discuss about the Rafale deal with the French firm and the deal would proceed swiftly.

According to the itinerary, both the countries would be considering aspects of the Indo-French ties under the leadership of the topmost leaders during the trip. The ministry of external affairs said that during his visit, Prime Minister will also be having detailed discussions on boosting various kinds of strategic, economic, defense, technology and innovation related cooperation with the French President Emmanuel Macron and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

The PM will be holding talks with the representatives from Egypt, Brazil and various other countries at the G-7 Summit:

The Prime Minister will be visiting the French cities of Evian, Nice and Paris. He will also be speaking with member nations of G-7 and partner nations, as well as the leaders of international organizations. South Korea, Egypt, Brazil, Kenya among others have also been invited to the meeting as partner countries.

Various deals might be signed with the France during the visit:

Various global as well as regional issues, including the West Asia situation, would be discussed. UN reform and India's Permanent membership in the UNSC are also expected to play a pivotal part during the discussions. Technology and innovation in India andFrance are major areas which will be considered throughout the visit, while a number of agreements might be signed between the two nations focusing on collaboration in innovation among universities, research institutes, as well as startups.

The Slovakian trip would include discussions on deepening defense relations and potential agreements might also be signed. Notably, Slovakia was independent in 1993 and this is for the first time, that the Prime Minister of India will be making a visit after the country's independence. He would be in Nice from June 13 and 14 and then in Slovakia from June 14 to 16, followed by a return to Paris.
