Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Five children drowned in two separate incidents in Uttar Pradesh. Three siblings died after visiting a temple and two drowned trying to save a friend. In Banda, three siblings died while bathing in the Chandrawal River after visiting a temple. In Kanpur Dehat, a teenager girl and another young man died while trying to save their friend who was drowning in the Yamuna River. These two incidents caused widespread devastation in the lives of the respective families.

In Gaurikalan village of Jaspura police station, three siblings were taking a bath in the Chandrawal river after visiting a temple with their grandmother and mother, and then drowned. Police were informed, divers went to the river. They rescued 10-year-old Ansh, 13-year-old Madhuri and 13-year-old cousin Pratik with help from villagers and took them to CHC Jaspura, but the doctors declared them dead. 15-year-old Rishabh, standing at the bank saved himself. Police reached the spot after receiving information and took the bodies of the three children for postmortem.

The second case is of Kanpur Dehat. On Monday, at around 7 AM, the bodies of a teenager and a young man who drowned in the Yamuna River near Nayapurwa village of Musanagar police station area were recovered from the Pakka Ghat of Musanagar, one km from the spot of drowning. SDRF team engaged in the rescue effort took out the boy's body first and then the girl's from the river. When the bodies were brought out of the Yamuna, the families lost themselves in lamentation. Then the police initiated the Panchnama procedure.

In Musanagar village of Nayapurva, Sunil Nishad's 12-year-old daughter Jahnvi alias Bhuri and 15-year-old neighborhood girl Jyoti went to take a bath in the Yamuna river on Sunday morning. While taking bath, they went deep into the river and started drowning. While swimming 16-year-old Anantram from the village fished out Jyoti from the Yamuna, but while saving Jahnvi he himself sank deep into the river and drowned. When the divers couldn't find the drowned teenagers even after searching for them, police called SDRF.

Their bodies were recovered from Pucca Ghat.

On Monday morning SDRF engaged in search action fished out the body of Anantram at around 7 am and of Jahnvi 15 minutes later from Pakka Ghat of Musanagar, one kilometer from the drowning site. After they were brought out, the family members began crying, thus creating havoc. Anantram’s wife Geeta, brother Santram, sisters Manisha, Janaki and Raveena were found to be weeping, while Jahnvi's mother Vinita and father Sunil were inconsolable due to her death. SO Musanagar Amita Verma said that Panchnama of both bodies is being made, farther actions are being carried out according to post-mortem reports.
