Diljit Dosanjh hit the news last year for criticising India's concert infrastructure. Like most professionals in the industry, critics gave him harsh backlash for his comment. Joining the drama is singer Palash Sen, the front singer of Euphoria.
While being interviewed by India Today, Palash criticized Diljit’s comment saying, “It is definitely unfair to talk about the country that has made you a superstar. I adore Diljit Dosanjh, the artist, but what he said was unfair.” Euphoria singer said, “ The country that has made you a superstar... please, do not say such things. You have to be thankful. You can’t take away the credit from all the event managers, whose work really is very hard. Yes, a lot of things could’ve been done better and there are quite a few things that are missing, I concede, but we all have to come together for that. You cannot just sit around and blame the organization. That is not how it works.” While performing in Chandigarh in 2024, Diljit Dosanjh took a dig at India’s infrastructure saying, “The shows are more like a musical drama performed within a specific area. Standing in one area and getting to see only half of the crowd is not what I had in mind when I started out here. Until this happens, I won’t do shows in India, that is for sure.” But the singer took back his statement later on, saying that it was never made in the first place and claiming his statement was taken out of context.
As for Diljit Dosanjh’s workflow, he recently shared a video of his latest song, Tension. Hollywood celebrity Will Smith posted a comment on Diljit’s video which sparks rumors on the possible collaboration. Trailing him, Palash Sen has worked a new song, Mahakal Chalo, with Akshay Kumar.
