Following the harrowing Pahalgam terror assault that resulted in the deaths of at least 26 individuals, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken notice that all CMs of the Indian states have to locate the Pakistani nationals within their states. Officials have been instructed to alert the central administration so that their visas may be revoked immediately.
According to the sources cited by PTI, Amit Shah urged the state administrations that no Pakistani citizens should be allowed to overstay their visa validity period in India.
This instruction comes in light of the decision made by India on the 24th of April, where all visas allotted to Pakistani citizens will be withdrawn starting from the 27th of April. In addition, the government has strongly recommended Indian citizens residing in Pakistan to shift back to India as soon as possible because tensions are rising between the two countries.
About the Pahalgam Terror Attack On the 22nd of April, terrorists conducted an attack in Baisaran Meadow located near Pahalgam in the Jammu & Kashmir region where they terminated 26 people, most being tourists, making it the single deadliest attack in the Kashmir Valley post the Pulwama incident in 2019.
Based on religious identity motives, assaulting individuals with guns was common. Gun wielding attackers made it a point to ensure that any and all tourists were captured and gunned down. Accounts suggest that captives were made to perform what are known as recite the allah proclaimation or as known by its native tongue as (‘Kalima’ and ‘Azan’). Those unfit to follow the orders given to them are shot on sight.
Rest for the rest I sane and only share shocking accounts and tell harrowing stories to the press that is not volunteering, was shocked all the times I witnessed shooting of no verification so I do say fact. This is after all not what I had in mind when I set out with my family for a last weekend trip. One of the many constituents shot off during horrible I must say surprised sad attack was husband less seeing.
