Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Lucknow, India – Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has launched a blistering attack on opposition parties, accusing them of exploiting the Muslim community for votes and then discarding them after elections.

Speaking at a meeting of the Pasmanda Muslim community, Pathak used a powerful culinary metaphor to describe the opposition's strategy. "The Congress, Samajwadi Party, and Bahujan Samaj Party have always treated Muslims like a 'tej patta' (bay leaf) in biryani," he stated. "It is needed for its aroma and flavor, but once the dish is cooked, the leaf is removed and thrown away."

Pathak argued that these parties have historically created a "fear of the BJP" to consolidate the Muslim vote. He claimed that once in power, they failed to deliver on promises of development, welfare, and employment for the community, effectively treating them as a disposable "vote bank."

In contrast, Pathak championed the policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the national level and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized the BJP's guiding principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (Together with all, development for all), asserting that government schemes and benefits are provided to all citizens without any discrimination based on caste or religion.

The Deputy CM's remarks are part of the BJP's broader outreach effort to connect with marginalized sections of the Muslim community, such as the Pasmandas, arguing that the party's development-focused agenda offers them more than the "tokenism" of their political rivals.
