Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, did not hold back in his criticism of the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam which resulted in the death of 26 people. He lamented the tragic loss of lives and assured complete medical assistance for the wounded.
“I stand together with all the Reliance family in grieving the brutal murder of innocent Indians in a barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22nd April, 2025. We extend our profound sympathies to the families of the deceased. We hope all those injured in the attack are able to recover fully and speedily,” bewailed Ambani.
For Medical Aid Reliance Foundation Sir HN Hospital
Ambani further added, “As part of the company's relief initiative, Reliance Foundation's Sir HN Hospital of Mumbai will grant free surgery to every person who is hurt because of the Pahalgam incident. private institutions also have an important role in ensuring that our nation does not lose hope.”
Ambani has labeled terrorism as an enemy of humanity.
During this meeting, Ambani labeled the act of terrorism as “an enemy of humanity,” stating why it should never be tolerated in any given situation. He stressed Reliance’s partnership with the government and the Indian populace, reiterating his firm support in the ongoing clash against militant activities as he pledged Reliance will stand united with the government and the citizens of India in all the battles against terrorism.
“We wholeheartedly support our Honourable Prime Minister, the Government of India as well as the entire nation in the fight against the terrorism,” he stated.
Context: The Pahalgam Terror Attack of April 22
The unfortunate incident took place on April 22, 2025, in Baisaran meadow close to Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack was aimed at tourists and it is one of the deadliest in the area since 2019. The incident has aroused violent criticism and increased security throughout the nation.
