The railway budget for Maha Kumbh 2025 is more than Rs 950 crore. Many bridges are being built with this budget and a new railway track has been built between Prayagraj-Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit Prayagraj on December 13. During this time he will inaugurate the rail bridge.

The workon thee Ganga Rail Bridge and Prayagraj, Varanasi rail track doubling has been done by RVNL, an organization of Indian Railways. The construction work of Ganga Bridge started in 2019 and the movement of trains will start from it before Maha Kumbh. Ganga Rail Bridge connects Daraganj of Prayagraj to Jhunsi, which will replace the old IJAT Bridge.
200 trains pass daily
The rail over a bridge near CMP Degree College in Prayagraj and the track between Jhunsi and Rambagh has also been doubled and connected to this rail line. About 200 trains pass through this track every day. Now the speed of trains between Delhi-Kolkata, Howrah and Prayagraj Kolkata, Prayagraj Gorakhpur, and Prayagraj Patna will increase through this track.
